Mini-games projects
Some mini games I worked on, some as a designer, others as Product Owner/Manager.
Boxing Madness
The game Boxing Madness was created in the context of the project that later gave rise to Buyttle. This game was part of the MMG: Mini Multiplayer Games project, a pilot project of which I was the founder. I primarily played the roles of Product Manager and Product Owner, being responsible for defining requirements and game design. The game was a reinterpretation of Atari's Boxing Boxing, but online and in real time.
Cercado War - Game for Windows 8
During the software residency organized by CESAR for the client HP (Hewlett-Packard), I was tasked with reinterpreting the classic 'Connect the Dots', a very popular pastime in the 90s, which used paper and pencil. As part of this project, it was my job to give an original approach to the traditional 'Connect the Dots' scheme.
My proposal was to set the game in a scenario where two farmers battled for land for their crops: one planted carrots and the other, beets. I was responsible for creating the graphical interface and game illustrations.
Trollo Game Jam
A game project realized with some designers and developers.
We worked for only a few days on a game idea that was multiplayer but without an internet connection. The initial idea of the game was to be able to control a submarine on a journey across the globe during World War II. Players had to be in the same physical location and execute synchronized commands to battle against enemy threats. Each player controlled parts of the submarine and needed to combine different actions to overcome the challenges that arose. In addition to participating in the game's conception, I worked on illustrations and interfaces. Unfortunately, we did not complete the project.
Ice Breaking
Ice Breaking was a game created within the MMG project, a reinterpretation of the famous Snake game, but in a multiplayer and real-time format. At the time, this approach was quite innovative. In the project, I played the roles of Product Manager and Product Owner.
Contact Memory
A game developed during the HP/Windows 8 software residency. In this project, I worked with a UX/UI designer. It was a simple memory game, but with a unique approach: it used photos of Facebook contacts to test your knowledge of your friends' names. The goal was to match both the photo and the corresponding contact name. The game was part of a package of small games released on the Windows 8 store.
